A new fangled survey conducted by womenhealthline.com had some startling revelations. The poll showed that nearly eighty percent of the resolutions made by women for the upcoming year 2010 were in fact carry-forwards of last year’s pledges.

According to the ‘Woman’s New Year’s Resolution 2010’ research done by womanhealthline.com, nearly 83% women intended on coming up with resolutions for the New Year on the 1st January. From those women that planned to make resolutions, about 76% asserted that with age they had become more adroit at sticking to the oaths that they took for the New Year.
Here’s a low-down of what the female gender resolve at doing or not doing in the New Year 2010.
44% aver that they would be having sex more often.- 62% avowed to curb stress levels.
- 86% stated that they intended on revving up their exercise regimen.
- 43% promised to catch up on more snooze hours.
- 30% would indulge in lesser alcoholic consumption.
- 44% vouched to do further dieting.
- 71% would put a halt on their whining.
- 46% promised that they would lessen their eating.
When the resolutions go kaput, what’s the rebuke?
Majority of the women pointed out that they would religiously adhere to their resolutions for the New Year in case they had to shell out bucks for being resolution-offenders. In 44% of the women, even below a hundred dollars was a sizeable sum to prevent them for breaking their New Year pledges.
Backup For observance of New Year Resolutions
About 23% of the women preferred to stay mum regarding their New Year Resolutions, 27% women sought encouragement with those they considered important to them, and 24% of the women looked for back-up from their close pals. Merely 13% of the women sought the backup of their kin members in adhering to their New Year Oaths.
Cell Phones are more important than even Sex
When queried about what they would rather let go: sex or their cell phones? – A whopping 47% of the women were ready to forego sex than let go of their cell phones. 85% of those responding to the poll preferred giving up on Facebook than sex. With these sorts of figures it appears Facebook is not that habit-forming after all.
The womanhealth.com opinion poll was carried out in between the concluding part of November till the initial part of December of 2009. Majority of those who responded to the survey were women constituting nearly 97%.
